Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. Her work is recognized as an actor in the film Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie's Content House

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that includes actors and directors, was a professional in both fields. In 1985 she debuted in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 she had her role as the main character in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo (1988), as well as being one of the actors in The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989, she played Nanni Moretti's baby for the film Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992), written and directed by Michele Placido was the film which launched Asia's career career. Asia was able to transition from roles of a young girl to complex and mature roles. Cannes International Film Festival was a huge success for the film. She has made three films with her dad, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome, and Phantom of the opera. The Phantom of the Opera will be her third film together with her father, which includes Trauma & The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's focused and intense style of acting has also been used in the film by Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot. It was an international part. She also starred alongside Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion as played by Peter Del Monte. This part earned her a David di Donatello (for the top actor) as well as a Grolla de Oro. Asia started directing as an occupation in the year 1994. Her debut short film was Prospettive. The documentary she made about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998) which was a movie that won a prize in the Rome Film Festival and was both produced between 1996 and 1998. In 1999, Asia made her feature-directing debut by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), where she acted as the lead actress as well as the writer of the screenplay. The movie came out on the 20th of May, 2000, in Italy as well as around the globe. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it won a award at the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou was her first born child in the year 2001. After directing several music videos, she welcomed Anna Lou. In 2002, Asia starred as Jean-Marc Bar's co-star The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) and Vin Diesel was the star of Rob Cohen's action thriller The Action. Asia is also the writer of a number of short stories published in many prestigious magazines
